Hi, I'm Jeff! I'm a learning designer based in the Lexington, Kentucky area. I'm passionate about education and I focus on using tried and true instructional design strategies to meet learning objectives. I've been fortunate to follow my passions and work in a wide range of positions including soldier in the US Army, small business owner, exhibit craftsman, university administrator, and events manager. I've lived in a lot of places including Indiana, Georgia, Florida, Arizona, and now consider myself fortunate to live in Kentucky where I’m close to family and friends. My wife is a public school teacher and we have three sons who provide endless opportunities for us to grow and learn along with them.
I like to be involved in my personal and professional communities. I’ve presented and led workshops at conferences throughout the US and I volunteer as a Kentucky election official.
When I'm not designing, you can find me hiking and taking day trips with family and friends, working on our 122-year-old house, or relaxing with my wife as we talk through our most recent educational challenges.
